29-Year Old Teacher, Football Coach, and Father of 2 Killed in Tragic Motorcycle Accident

Teco Browning, father and football coach killed

Nationwide — Teco Browning, a 29-year old high school teacher and football coach from Douglasville, Georgia, was killed in a motorcycle accident last week. He was also a husband and the father of two young children.

Browning was riding his motorcycle on Georgia Highway 92 when a work truck hauling an enclosed trailer turned left into his path. The truck and his motorcycle collided.

Browning was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cobb County School District expressed their condolences over Browning’s tragic death.

“The Osborne community is heartbroken to hear that Mr. Browning passed away yesterday. He was a very popular teacher and coach at Osborne who went above and beyond to support students and will be missed deeply by everyone at Osborne who crossed his path.”

GoFundMe set up to raise funds for Browning’s family has so far gathered more than $10,000. He left behind his wife and their two children, one of which was just recently born.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck that hit Browning, 59-year-old Steven R. Faulker, is facing several charges, including second-degree homicide by vehicle, failure to yield while turning left, failure to exercise due care, and driving with an expired tag. The wreck is still under investigation.
