Atlanta, GA — Rochelle Porter of Rochelle Porter Design lends her talents to a worthy cause through a new collaboration with industry-leading stationery retailer The Happy Planner. Best known for her vibrant, hand-drawn activewear and home decor prints, Porter keeps good company as one of the three Black women artists selected to design planner covers for the limited-edition capsule collection.

Porter, along with Brandy Brown of Marabou Design and Jena Holliday of Spoonful of Faith, was chosen for her eclectic design aesthetic, use of color, and bold graphic style inspired by her Caribbean roots. All net profits from the sale of these planner covers will go to the NextGen Artist Program, an initiative of the National Black Arts Festival providing workshops, classes, business mentoring and scholarships for emerging young artists.

Porter notes, “I’m honored to collaborate with The Happy Planner and to have my design featured alongside the work of two amazing talented black women artists. I’m equally honored the net proceeds are going to a cause that nurtures the careers of promising young art.”

Porter continues to make her mark on the community and the planet through her sustainable and charitable initiatives.
