Rapper/ Spoken Word Artist, Reggie Jay, Releases 2nd Album With Songs About Racism, Injustice and Love

Reggie Jay

Nationwide — Reggie Jay has released his second album “Common Sense Ant’ Common” via Jordan’s Records on his website at ReggieJay.com. The album features songs about racism, injustice, love, today’s youth, and America’s social problems.

As one of Houston’s most popular conscious poets, he delivers a powerful message about the fabric of America. With a passion for songwriting running through his veins at an early age, he wrote his first song at age 7 years-old. Blending his spoken words creation with a soul-stirring and passionate style, Reggie Jay inspires and empowers audiences with his revolutionary and fiery presence.

His lyrics demand respect while mesmerizing his listeners and provoking them to think “outside the box”. His songs incorporated with poetry deliver a serious message about social issues, life, love, injustice, and the conscious mindset of the American people.

While each song varies in style, they all are originals and circles back to one universal theme – America must change. Asked about his new album, Reggie Jay said, “This album goes hand in hand with the climate in America today. If we as a nation don’t change our mindset, Americans will be destroyed from within”. His album “Ideology 109” has taken him to cities all over America and Mexico.
