New Debt Relief Program For Women Launches

Man helping woman in debt

Nationwide — A new program has been launched to assist women in the United States who are overwhelmed with debt. The program, Debt Help 4 Women, aims to help millions of single moms and others who struggle economically because of their financial obligations.

According to USA Today, “women carry higher levels of debt than men across numerous categories.” They have higher amounts of student loan debt, higher credit card balances, and also owe more for their auto loans.

This is in addition to the fact that women earn roughly $0.72 to $0.82 for each dollar that their male counterparts make. Obviously if women are earning less, it takes them longer to repay their debts.

For this reason, the Debt Help 4 Women program has been established to help women negotiate lower balances with creditors, consolidate their debt, and explore other options to ultimately eliminate their debt.

The program is especially designed to help single mothers and other women who live in all 50 states, who are at least 25 years old. Married women and women with no children are also eligible to receive assistance. For more details and/or to get started, visit DebtHelp4Women.org
