Black Mom Living in Taiwan Offers Tips on How to Find Peace Over Panic While Being Quarantined

Juanita Ingram, Black woman living in Taiwan

Nationwide — Juanita Ingram, a wife and mother of two, is also an attorney, author, and media personality who is currently living in Taiwan as an expat. She has a new book entitled Peace Over Panic: Finding Peace in Chaos that gives people encouragement and advice on how to survive self-quarantine like a queen.

Having recently emerged from two 30-day quarantines over the coronavirus, Juanita says that officials in Taiwan caught the coronavirus early and continue to give two masks to each resident every week. She also reports that if anyone tries to enter a grocery store without a mask, they turn them away.

Juanita says that she has experienced city shut downs, social distancing, self-quarantine, public temperature checks and more. She recently was interviewed for her experience and advice on NewsmaxTV.

As a media personality, Juanita is known as the host of “Where in the World is Juanita?” on Facebook Watch and YouTube.

Recognized as a Lawyer of Distinction in 2018, she won a Telly Award for her legal talk show, Legal Notion, and was the first African American woman to win the title of Ms. World International in 2012.

She comments, “I’m a great resource to interview via Skype during the COVID-19 coverage. I have many ties in the United States, and many people will be encouraged by my words.”
