Woman Bites Off Owner’s Ear After a Chinese Food Restaurant Gets Her Order Wrong

Mount Clemens, MI — Jade Anderson, a 24-year old woman from Michigan, was recently arrested after she allegedly attacked and bit off the ear of a Chinese restaurant’s owner because she was upset about her order.

Reportedly, Anderson was not happy with her food at China 1 Restaurant in Mount Clements on Thursday night, although the reason for her anger wasn’t clear yet.

Because of a language barrier, the owner’s wife and son, described by a witness to be about 10 to 11 years old, translated her complaints. But Anderson pushed the son, threw her food on the floor, and assaulted the wife.

The owner stepped in to protect his wife but Anderson also attacked him. As she was being pushed out the door, she bit the man’s ear, detaching a part of it.

WXYZ released the 911 call from the owner’s son.

“There’s a violent woman over here hitting my mom,” the son is heard saying. “She also hit me.”

“Who is she?” the 911 operator asks.

“I don’t know,” the son says. “I’m scared. Can you please come? She’s fighting us right now.”

Macomb County Sheriff deputies responded to the incident at around 9:40 pm. They found the owner with his ear partially bitten off and his wife with a large bump on her forehead. The owner was taken to the hospital while the wife was treated at the scene.

Anderson was arrested and charged with assault with intent to maim. She was jailed at Macomb County Jail with a bail set at $20,000. She is scheduled to appear in court on July 11.

Deputies also said Anderson left a small child at home unsupervised. The child has been turned over to a responsible adult.
