Join them in welcoming the TOP beauty influencers as they provide a wealth of information aimed to empower, educate and inspire ALL (naturalistas, transitioners, relaxed beauties or those just looking for a day of fun activities amongst great company).

TCNJ’s Georgian Colonial campus is the perfect backdrop for this fun filled day that you won’t want to miss! This beautiful explosion of individuals embracing their hair, regardless of texture, will “rock” the campus as visitors from neighboring universities and towns come out for a day of activities, workshops, giveaways, deals, guest appearances and Mercer County’s first look at the Curly Seasons art exhibit by Lavett Ballard. Ballard was recently selected out of 1,500 as one of 20 emerging artists to represent the New York area in the Bombay Sapphire’s National Emerging Artist Competition, where her work was displayed in an exhibition at the Rush Art Gallery in Chelsea.

CLASSES:

Master Class: Tameeka’s Transformations
1:30pm-2:30pm, $12
Instructor: Tameeka McNeil-Johnson, Jaded Tresses, Location: Instruction Room
After the bell rings, licensed stylist, author and natural hair thought leader, Tameeka McNeil-Johnson, aka The Curl Whisperer, will be kicking of the day! She’s transforming the hair of 3 women with drastically different hair types. (yes, including that beautifully, tightly coiled hair that some of you think you can’t master). The instructor will be transforming their hair right before your eyes. Join the curl Whisperer as she takes your questions and shows you tools of the trade. You could be called upon to come up in this highly engaging class. Take home test! You must take notes well enough to transform your hair at home.

The Curl Whisperer’s Live Big Chop

Karen of Karen’s Body Beautiful Mixing Session
