Nationwide — It has become apparent to the African American community that a subliminal biased message has been communicated from the ‘Trump White House’, into States Houses, City Political Houses and into the ‘Broken Criminal Justice’ arena.

Months after being convicted for second-degree murder, former Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke has been sentenced to six years and nine months in prison and two years of mandatory supervised release for the 2014 murder of 17-year old Laquan McDonald.

Van Dyke shot McDonald 16 times with 9 in the back… on the night of October 20, 2014. Van Dyke claimed that he fired after McDonald failed to comply with demands to drop a knife he was holding and made a threatening move toward police.

Judge Domenica Stephenson acquitted former Officer Joseph Walsh, Detective David March, and Officer Thomas Gaffney on charges of conspiracy, official misconduct, and obstruction of justice.

The truth has now surfaced… But ONLY after a string of lawsuits and a judge’s order to release dash-cam footage of the shooting, city officials released video showing that McDonald appeared to be moving away from police when he was shot, contradicting Van Dyke’s account. It is now without doubt that public officials knew of the well-hidden facts…the facts concealed from the taxpayers!

With concentration on the ‘New Sentencing Guidelines’, an abundance of attention was focused on the apparent fact that an African American youth had been shot ‘16-times’ and that the assigned judge did not understand the justifiable rage of the community.

Blacks have been sentenced to more than 7-years for offenses that were not fatal! African Americans have always been the fuel for the criminal justice system, but recently from the corridors of darkness comes yet another maneuver called select sentencing for a white offender!

‘Laquan McDonald’s death has kindled demands for political reform in Chicago.’

Chicago located by the beautiful Lake Michigan, has now become an historically breeding ground for its miscarriage of justice in the Cook County Criminal Courts.

When individuals are often sent to prison for an abundance of years for marijuana and a small gram of cocaine or crack… what message are we relating to those who take the lives of black youth from among us?

The policeman in question will be free in a matter of days! Is this justice or is it… Criminally Just Us?
