Black Certified Life Coach, Dr. Toscha L. Dickerson, is Helping Teens to Cope With Anxiety During COVID-19 Pandemic

Dr. Toscha Dickerson

Nationwide — Dr. Toscha L. Dickerson is a Certified Professional Life Coach that has teamed up with WIT enterprises – Stick 2 You, Smile It Fwd., Proud to Care, and Organized Teen & Coping Corner – to provide tips for teens to manage stress during these uncertain times.

The virtual teen wellness series is a space for teens to share their experiences with social distancing, connect with other teens around the country, and learn from certified life coaches. The first series began Saturday April 11, 2020 and will continue every two weeks, so more teens are able to connect and join the conversations. Teens joined from Texas, California, New York, North Carolina, and Brazil. “I want to hear from teens across the country to find out how they are coping with our new normalcy and to let them know that I am here to help,” says Dr. Dickerson.

Dr. Dickerson is a coach for Whatever It Takes (W.I.T.), the leading program in the country for teen entrepreneurs that provides college credit entrepreneur programs for 9th-12th graders.

She is the CEO of Dickerson Management & Associates, a global management firm providing services such as coaching, training, and consulting that helps to enhance organizations while expanding growth opportunities. She is also the co-founder of CEO Leadership & Training Academy, assisting start-ups, small businesses, corporations and non-profits with the tools and resources needed to sustain and be profitable businesses. In addition to operating her business, Dr. Dickerson is a Professor at Liberty University where she teaches graduate students supply chain management courses while encouraging them to accomplish their goals.

She comments, “These unprecedented times are difficult for everyone right now and my concern are our teens and how I can best serve them in a time of need. Most teens are not able to talk to their parents about their thoughts and feelings, and I want them to share in a safe space with other teens who are going through the same situation. My purpose is to inspire and empower others to reach their highest potential.”
