Nationwide — Terrence Fagan Jr, a 17-year old teen author who completed college before he graduated high school is the founder of the online freelance platform MyExpertHub.com. It connects business owners to freelancers who get their digital products and services done. He teamed up with his mom Sophia Davis-Fagan who at 16 was already a teen mom.
The platform is fully functional which makes it easy for freelancers to create a free account and immediately start getting digital products and services done to help entrepreneurs start, grow, and scale their businesses.
The pandemic has demonstrated to all of us that it cannot be business as usual. Sophia shared that, “many people had to pivot quickly and utilize the hidden skills they had online as freelancers. Now many of them (freelancers) realize that they can freelance and generate incomes for their families, all whilst doing it on their own terms.” Sophia further stated that, according to CNBC, the freelancing industry grew to $1.2 trillion in 2020, a 22% increase over 2019.
Terrence is a youth on a mission. He’s the author of the book Youths Empowered For Success: Take The Right Action Today For Your Success Tomorrow and he’s the author of numerous journals and action planners. At 15, Terrence launched ‘Youth Empowerment Podcast’ of which he’s the host and the annual summit ‘Youth Empowerment And Business Summit’. Terrence also created the first and only Affirmation And Learning Playing Cards that helps kids to build their self-esteem and a positive mindset as they have fun playing a game of cards. He’s a freshman at OSU.
Terrence says, “my parents tell me not to just consume but to build and create so that not only will I benefit, but others get the opportunity they so desperately need.” He further stated, “You can go as far as you can dream if you are intentional about your thoughts, habits, actions, and friends.”
