Elk Grove, CA (BlackNews.com) - Toria Wyrick supplies single women with a practical guide to prepare for, find and experience more meaningful relationships with men in her new book, Want a Man? Lets Talk (now available through AuthorHouse).

This book is a practical approach to mentally and emotionally prepare women for relationships. Wyrick says that women need to be ready when they cross paths with their soul mate, and she teaches them how to find success in this quest for love. Women will explore their past to resolve emotional concerns, remove barriers and unpack any excess baggage from previous relationships.

“We have all experienced emotionally challenging times in our lives that have required that we take a step back before we can take several steps forward,” Wyrick says. She instructs women to refuse to allow horrible past events dictate and have control over their future. “Let’s work past emotional road blocks and move forward with a new strength, a better understanding of life and a new level of peace,” Wyrick continues. She encourages and challenges women to discover who they are and what they want from men and to have the courage to pursue these desires.

In this book, women can test their current level of relationship knowledge and familiarity with men. Valuable knowledge will be gained from this guide, which will allow an individual to be more confident. Wyrick encourages women to push themselves to go out on several dates a week to improve their relationship skills, so they are ready when the right man comes along.

“After 16 years of marriage, I found myself divorced and single again. The single life I knew before college, marriage and kids was gone,” Wyrick says. She discovered a different kind of single life and gained knowledge through her own dating experiences. This knowledge is useful to any woman ages 20 to 53 who does not have much experience dating or is re-entering the single world again. “Being single is a fabulous opportunity to enjoy life at your own pace and live by your own rules,” she says.

Born and raised in San Jose, Calif., Wyrick left to attend college at the University of Sacramento. She has four wonderful children from her first marriage. Want a Man? Lets Talk is her first book. She hopes to continue her career in writing and encourage women to find their soul mate.
