The New
York Idea Exchange seminar is located at the Fashion
Institute of Technology on 7th Avenue at 27th Street.
The Chicago Idea Exchange seminar is located at the
University Center, located 525 South State Street. Morrison
has reached out to local Chicago and New York community
organizations, churches and business networks in hopes
they will take advantage of this valuable information
exchange.
The Idea
Exchange will be led by its founder and coach Andrew
Morrison, who knows what it takes for business success.
He previously established a multi-million dollar company
by providing innovative direct marketing services to
Fortune 500 companies. He was featured in the Wall Street
Journal, Entrepreneur Magazine, Crain's Magazine 40
under 40 and Advertising Age. He also appeared as a
"Young Millionaire" on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
The Idea Exchange Business Seminar is a scaled down
spin-off event of Morrison's successful Small Business
Camp series. The Small Business Camp is an intensive
2-day business training and marketing boot camp service
for entrepreneurs. The program primarily targets new
and established minority entrepreneurs looking to jumpstart
their business or established business owners who want
to refine their skills and increase profits. African-Americans
and Hispanic-Americans are starting companies at twice
the rate of the general public. Corporate downsizing,
globalization and disappointment with the glass ceiling
have fueled this trend toward entrepreneurship. "With
this renewed interest, my goal is to equip them with
the knowledge needed to help them make the transition
toward business ownership," says Morrison.
The camp
initially launched in the New York and Philadelphia
market and quickly received glowing reviews. "If you
are ready to start your own business, you need to contact
Mr. Morrison, ASAP. Andrew's program is not for the
faint of heart. He speaks the truth about the possibilities
of your business idea in clear, no nonsense terms. Name
your business idea, and if there is a market for it,
he'll start you on the path with the essential tools
necessary for tremendous personal and financial success.
Then, the rest is up to you," says New York previous
participant Stephanie Yvette Cole.
Riding
the momentum of success from New York and Philadelphia,
Morrison decided to expand his program to the Chicago
market. Attendees of the Idea Exchange will be able
to receive key business insights at no cost. Morrison
will tackle topics such as doubling sales in 90 days,
brand development, team building, attracting investors,
media exposure, staying focused on your goals and getting
unstuck from an emotional rut.

"I hate
to think of entrepreneurs wasting another year of their
lives trying to crack the code in business only to discover
their plan was flawed from the beginning," said Morrison.
He continues, "I am excited about broadening Idea Exchange
to other markets and providing a new audience with a
supportive environment of like-minded business owners
who hold each other accountable to their dreams."
