Houston, TX (BlackNews.com) - PublishAmercia, LLP (www.publishamerica.com) will release the debut short fiction Reaping & Sowing written by up-and-coming author, Angela Anderson. Publish America, a traditional publishing company, whose primary goal is to encourage the work of new, undiscovered writers, will unveil what just may be a 'hidden treasure' in this latest book.

This short novel originated as a means of therapy for the author, several years ago, with pen and paper acting as the cure all. "As did my children, my job, my life...writing this book taught me patience." The end result is this "moral of the story" tale. "Like most writers of fiction, I allowed some parts of me to enter into each character. It is a very frightening thing to have your work published, and on display for the world to see and judge, exposing both your creativity and your inner self. But it's also very exciting! I feel an enormous sense of accomplishment. For me this is a dream come true!" said Anderson.

The main character in the book, Regi Brown, plunges into one unhealthy relationship after another...failing miserably at each. When she found herself excessively emotionally involved with a married man, Regi recognized it as the beginning of the end for her. She was left with two choices; she could continue down a path of self destruction and allow herself to sink deeper into a life of despair, or dig herself out of the hell (created by her subconscious mind), in which she was her own prisoner, and began to live. Regi chose to self destruct. But what she soon discovered was that the choice was not hers to make.

"Though Regi is a fictitious character, she could be anyone walking the streets today. Her life, her trials, could be anyone's. Every one of us have had to endure some grief, some struggle, at some point in our lives. The true test is how we handle it. My aphorism, the one I base my entire existence on, is 'Everything happens for a reason.' I believe that God can and does take bad situations and use them for good. And that is the basis of my character's existence," stated Anderson.

Reaping & Sowing will be available in trade paperback for purchase in bookstores as well as online venues. For more information, visit www.publishamerica.com or call them at 301-695-1707.
