An NAACP literature sub-committee vote will determine the five nominees in this category. The five nominees will be announced at a press conference on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in Los Angeles. The list of nominees will then be placed on a master ballot, which will then be distributed nationally and internationally to NAACP Members via the February Issue of The Crisis Magazine.
