New Black Invention Helps End Auto Tragedies

Seeking manufacturers interested in licensing the design and bringing this unique new product to market.

Maplewood, NJ (BlackNews.com) - Everyone has read the headlines and seen reports on television about a parent who forgets their child in a sweltering car, or someone leaving their dog locked inside with the windows rolled up. The end result of this type of story is usually tragic and fatal.

Several articles in various newspapers led Valerie Morrison, an African-American inventor from Maplewood, New Jersey, to create a solution that can help put an end to these tragedies.

Her product, Life Guard, is designed to alert drivers that they left their kid (or pet) in the car. It is easy to use and will appeal to a wide market of consumers worldwide.

"Its amazing that cars can be designed to alert drivers that they left their keys in the ignition or that their lights are on, but nothing to alert a preoccupied driver of a child left inside the vehicle. Of course, no one would ever think they would do something like that, but it continues to happen. Whether it is done on purpose, parents running into the store for a quick second, or out of negligence, something has to be done," says Ms. Morrison.

This original idea is now being made available for licensing to manufacturers interested in new product development, especially in the automotive industry. She is now aggressively seeking manufacturers interested in licensing the design and bringing this unique new product to market. Ms. Morrison is hoping to have Life Guard in full production and available to the public within the very near future.

Additional information about Life Guard can be obtained by contacting the publicity/Press Department of Invention Technologies, Inc. at (800) 940-9020 Ext 2285 or at products@invent-tech.com. Invention Technologies, Inc. that is handling the publicity and public relations for Life Guard.

There will be no product photos, prototypes or graphic illustrations of the design made available to the media until a licensing agreement and/or Patent protection has been secured.
