The grand
prize-winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to
the site of a cover photo shoot, as well as a two-year
subscription to 'Heart & Soul' and a two-year supply
of products from Crème of Nature, the gold standard
for cleansing and conditioning African-American women's
hair. Ten runners-up will receive a one-year subscription
to 'Heart & Soul' and a one-year supply of Crème of
Nature products.
Women can
enter the contest by mail, e-mail or visiting the Buick/'Heart
& Soul' Magazine Health and Wellness Pavilion at leading
outdoor festivals targeting black communities this summer.
Upcoming pavilion stops include Atlanta's "Ultimate
Family Reunion" (7/28), Washington D.C.'s "Stone Soul
Picnic" (8/11), Philadelphia's "Unity Day" (8/19) and
Houston's "Family Fun Day" (9/2). Registration material
will be available at each location.
'Heart &
Soul' will select a panel to judge the contestants.

General Contest Details:
All entries
must be postmarked by August 31, 2007 and must include
the following items:
* Two 4x6
photographs (one headshot and one whole body, including
the face)
* A 200-word
essay about what makes the entrant a healthy, wealthy
or wise woman
* A 5x8
index card with full name, mailing address, telephone
number and e-mail address all clearly printed in dark
ink or typed
