Black Hair Care Products Serve The Community Through Education

Free seminars help African-American women prevent hair damage

Atlanta, GA - By providing free educational seminars and removal workshops entitled "Keeping Your Hair Or Not", the staff at TAKE DOWNŽ Hair products are helping to prevent African-American women from damaging and/or losing their hair when removing braids, bonding glue, sew-in-weaves, quick weaves, infusion, hair extensions and dreadlocks. Solving the removal problems when taking down these hairstyles is not an easy task.

Fatima Sokera, the founder of TAKE DOWNŽ Hair Products, and Gail Coote travel both domestically and internationally educating and motivating women on why they must and how they can save their hair.

Across the globe, Black females are thinning and balding from snatching the glue out of their hair and ripping braids out of their hair, without combing through the knots and tangles at the root of their hair. Stylists' and Braiders cannot continue to create these fabulous hairstyles, and then damage the client's hair when removing these same styles. Application and removal go hand-in-hand - That is the only solution for healthy hair.

In order for women to enter the free seminars and workshops, they must bring canned foods and/or clothing to be donated to women shelters in that city. This is a requirement because FBB Incorporated, the Atlanta-based company that owns {TAKE DOWNŽ hair products}, is committed to meet and exceed the needs of the community, for the betterment of all. One of the company's core values is to Serve for the sake of serving and Give for the sake of giving. Therefore, the women who attend must give back to the community as well.
