"As
an organization committed to preserving the sanctity
of human life, we challenge those in opposition to Mr.
Bennett's statement to go beyond the rhetoric and address
the underlying issue of the remark. Abortion is the
leading killer of African Americans, a reality that
should inspire similar outrage among African American
leaders responding to Mr. Bennett's comments. As we
respond with fervor to his comments, we must simultaneously
focus our energy on actively promoting a culture of
life in our community by preserving the sanctity of
all human life."
ABOUT BAMPAC
Founded in 1994, BAMPAC is a non-partisan federal Political
Action Committee committed to promoting the sanctity

protecting our freedom through limited government, and
improving the moral climate in our nation as well as
highlighting the importance of the African American
vote.
BAMPAC works daily towards these goals by supporting
the election or re-election of public officeholders
who share this vision and work to promote these core
values in public life. Actively advocating its core
issues through media campaigns and providing the quantitative
and qualitative analysis on issues of importance to
its growing constituency, BAMPAC also promotes the tenets
of democracy and political action globally.
