Moss, Founder of HBCUconnect.com, Announces Merger/Acquisition
of Second Largest HBCU Web Site

Columbus,
OH - In 1999, Will Moss launched HBCUconnect.com as the
first ever social network for African Americans. Nearly 10
years later, the site is 1.2 million members strong and is
the largest online community for Black college students and
alumni.
To strengthen his reach, Moss has recently
announced the acquisition of their major competitor - HBCUnetwork.com.
This further solidifies his company's position as owners of
the largest, most active HBCU audience online. Also in their
portfolio, is HBCU.com and HBCU.net.
"Our goal
is to be the #1 go-to source for recruiters and advertisers
looking to reach African American college students and alumni,"
says Moss. "We also want to help Black colleges build up their
student enrollment and alumni retention."
Current
clients of HBCUconnect.com include Nissan, Infiniti, Ford
Motors, U.S. Army, Starbucks, Wal-Mart, Alltel Wireless, and
many more.
Currently,
there are 105 historically Black colleges in the United States
with over 300,000 enrolled students and hundreds of thousands
of proud alumni.

Will Moss
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Will Moss is the CEO of Moss Interactive
and the co-founder of Lee Moss Media. A graduate of Hampton
University, he is one of few African American technologists
who are nationally-recognized for their contributions to social
media.
This
past summer, Moss was the only African American to speak at
the 2008 Annual Social Media Summit in San Francisco.
