ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A graduate of Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Hutt began his career at Ernst and Young Certified Public Accountants. While with Ernst and Young, he was selected to serve as the firm's Visiting Professor of Accounting at Morgan State University.
Upon completing the executive teaching assignment, Hutt attended the University Of Maryland School Of Law. After completing law school, Hutt established The Law Office of Louis G. Hutt, Jr. and Bennett, Hutt and Co., L.L.C., Certified Public Accountants.
The firm specializes in tax controversies, contract negotiation, business acquisitions, and business law planning involving the formation of legal entities including tax exempt organizations. In addition, Bennett, Hutt and Co., provides executive level management training as well as business, tax and management advisory services to an array of entrepreneurs, professional offices, professional sports, and different regulated organizations. Offices are maintained in Columbia, Maryland and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Hutt is a weekly guest on XM 169 morning radio talk show from Washington D.C. He has received several awards throughout his career including the Distinguished Alumni of the School of Business by Washington University; U.S. Small Business Administration as Accounting Advocate of the Year; Waring-Mitchell Law Society's Distinguished Member of the Community Award; Practitioner of the Year by University of Maryland's Black Law Students Association; recipient of NAACP Business Award; and, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's Meritorious Service Award.
