Houston, TX — For years, Tamala Austin has championed health living in Houston as the owner of J.I.V.E. Juice Company and a certified health coach. On December 9, she continues her mission to help others make wellness a priority with the debut of her new book, Love My Body Again: 21 Days of Meditation to Live Your Best Healthy Life Now.

As part of the launch, Austin will host a book signing at the Houston Museum of African American Culture, and headline some dynamic women who will share how they took control of their minds, bodies and souls in order to live their best lives. Special Guest Speakers will include: Felecia Henderson, First Lady of The Lighthouse Church and author of the book’s foreword; Crystal Hadnott, athlete and wellness expert; Crystal Wall, wife of rapper Paul Wall and healthy living advocate; Leverette Baldwin, personal trainer and bodybuilder; and Velma Trayham, founder of ThinkZILLA PR & Consulting Group.

“As we approach the end of the year, many women are beginning to reflect on what steps they can take to make holistic changes, reshape their bodies, renew their minds and fortify their spirits,” said Austin. “Our Love My Body Again event brings together powerful women who have made a commitment to living their best lives and want to share their stories in order to inspire, equip and encourage others.”

Love My Body Again: 21 Days of Meditation to Live Your Best Healthy Life Now targets women who are displeased with their current bodies and feel disappointed with what they see in the mirror. The book guides them along a proven process to help them learn to put themselves first, make their health a priority and become a happier, healthier and more confident version of themselves. The book emphasizes the power and beauty of women’s bodies, and helps women move from guilt, shame and negative body consciousness. The book also provides tools and resources to help women get more energy, eliminate stress, revamp their exercise routines and revise their nutritional behaviors.

The Love My Body Again book signing will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event will feature delectable dishes prepared by Chef Dee Dee, owner of Cooking with a Twist, the Musician Wives will feature their keynote Peach Moscato, décor designed by Tomeka Paul, owner of Ooh La La Exquisite Events and a live performance by contemporary jazz saxophonist J Sylvester.
