Strategic Transformation Partners Announces One-to-One Matchmaking for Minority Business Owners at Business Opportunity Convention
Strategic One-to-One's Expected to Further Fuel Minority Business Growth
West Chester, PA (BlackNews.com) - Strategic Transformation Partners LLC (STP) announced immediate availability of its Diverse Business Strategic 1:1 Matchmaking Service (DBSMS), enabling companies to strategically reach out to diverse suppliers including minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned businesses. STP will provide this service during the Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC) of PA-NJ-DE Business Opportunity Convention (www.stp-partners.com/stpevents/msdc_boc2008.html) scheduled for October 7-8 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. The two-day event is the premier event in the Delaware Valley Tri-State area where minority business enterprises, corporations and government entities have an opportunity to get the word out about their companies, forge new strategic partnerships, and gather the tools they need to help grow their businesses.
The STP Diverse Business Strategic Matchmaking Service assists corporations with a full package of offerings to ensure success with their supplier diversity goals. Services include registration portal development, diverse supplier research, registration administration, outreach and marketing.
"Hit or miss trade shows and matchmaking is fast becoming a thing of the past, in particular with our current economic state. Knowing the current or near-term procurement needs of the corporation is important to the small business suppliers and prevents wasted time for all involved. STP bridges that gap with our DBSMS business model platform," says Tammy Camper, Strategic Transformation Partners LLC President & Principal Resultant. "As stated in our tagline, Making Strategy & Skills Connect is what STP is all about. If you have a diverse business concept, we can provide the solution to make it happen."
The matchmaking event will take place on Wednesday, October 8. So far, more than 30 companies are participating in the matchmaking portion of the convention. A few of the participating companies are:
Aramark
Comcast
DuPont
Exelon
Highmark
Lockheed Martin
PSEG
Schering-Plough
Siemens
United States Postal Service
Wal-Mart
Darlene Jenkins, President, MSDC PA-NJ-DE says, "Service and integrity are the key components that I look at when choosing business partners for the MSDC of PA-NJ-DE. In selecting Strategic Transformation Partners, LLC, to develop and manage our registration portal for this event, we hit a home run. They not only met and exceeded my criteria but their personal touch was an added bonus."
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on October 8, formally kicking off the tradeshow portion of the conference which leads into the matchmaking sessions. The corporate tradeshow will provide corporations an opportunity to meet top minority business owners.
