Revolutionary Health Breakthrough For Fighting Aging, Oxidative Stress, and Chronic Inflammation
By Kenneth Byrd
Nationwide (October 18, 2012) -- African Americans make up the single largest minority group in the United States, and in today's society, mental and physical health, are amongst the highest problems in the Black and Hispanic communities. These problems are associated with genetics (family medical history), environmental and cultural factors, and access to health care. Some of the leading causes of death in our society are: heart disease, cancer, diabetes, homicide, HIV/AIDS. These are just some of the leading causes listed by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
Today, we face issues such as poor nutritional habits, obesity, asthma, hypertension and skin cancer. Other studies also show that our community has more oxidative stress than Caucasians, meaning we have a higher death rate from these illnesses and diseases. There are many organizations and resource centers available today for those who seek help. Our community is becoming better and reaching out to more people everyday. The fight is far from over and it could be as simple as one person helping another, but we have to help ourselves first.
What is Oxidative Stress? This is the build up of free radicals in our blood stream that ultimately leads to aging. In between the ages of 20 to 25, your body no longer produces survival genes at a rate fast enough to counteract or fight these free radicals as quickly as they form. Once this begins your body becomes more receptive to the diseases and illnesses our communities have faced and will face in the future.
What is Nrf2 and what does it do? Your body already has in place the enzymes to fight oxidative stress and chronic inflammation. This information is stored in your genes. Nrf2 is the superior enforcer of survival genes. This is a protein messenger held in every cell in your body. Nrf2 instructs your genes to fight aging and or oxidative stress. Once activated Nrf2 enters the nucleus of every cell and turns on hundreds of genes known as survival genes. This also activates your body's antioxidant defense, detoxification and immune balancing mechanisms that slow down cellular aging and reduces the risk of degenerative diseases.
Dr. Joe McCord, Ph.D. has spent over 40 years studying the science of free radicals and aging in our society. His work earned him the Elliott Cresson Medal, along with Henry Ford, Alexander Graham Bell, and Orville Wright. Dr. McCord has proven that the best way to fight aging is at its source, your genes. Scientists know that the so called "diseases of aging" are closely related with oxidative stress.
A revolutionary product, Protandim (TM), activates Nrf2 cells, which in return does its job by regulating the various enzymes that make the body function at on optimal level restoring your inner youth to that of a 20 year old. This breakthrough has caught the interest of many colleges such as University of Colorado, Texas Tech, Ohio State and many others doing privately funded research today. Topics currently under studies are as follows: skin cancer, photoaging of skin, osteoarthritis, HIV/AIDS - associated lipodysrophy, pulmonary hypertension, heart disease, and asthma.
Those are a fraction of the studies under development and the potential of this research has countless measures to offer the African American community. This is definitely something to share with those you love. In just 30 days of taking the pill, everyone at every age (even 80) oxidative stress was lowered by 40 percent and by 70 percent in just 120 days.
