About the Author
Lisa M. Cliff is a self-taught artist that has painted for many years and believes that art is all about communication. Through many years of journaling and painting, Lisa found that even after a painting was complete, her heart kept on singing and she felt the need to continue telling the story; the words began to spill out on paper in the form of lyrical poetry. Professionally, for the last 20 years, Lisa helped to build one of the strongest premiere brands in the supermarket industry. She always thought of her self as an artist that happened to be a VP of sales for a major food company. As a leap of faith, Lisa is now pursuing her passion of painting full time. She feels that painting is a part of her purpose for being; she encourages readers to also find that which also makes their heart purr. Ms. Cliff uses An Umbrella in Case of Rain: Art and Poetry for the Soul to communicate her personal message of hope.
