Hollywood, CA (BlackNews.com) - It was a whirlwind weekend in Hollywood for Discovery Channel TV Host Juliette Fairley. On Friday, the up and coming actress was caught playing golf with actor Anthony Anderson at the 3rd Annual BET Awards Power to End Stroke Celebrity Golf Tournament. By Sunday, Miss Fairley was spotted on the red carpet at the Billboard Magazine 2009 BET Awards Post Event for nominees.

“I support all efforts to educate African Americans about the importance of heart health,” said Miss Fairley, who was a celebrity golf participant in the tournament along with super model Beverly Johnson and Anderson who starred in the Transformers, John Singleton’s Hustle and Flow and The Departed with Matt Damon. Originally from Manhattan, Juliette is in Los Angeles performing her one woman show The Mulatto Series at Sunset Gardner Stages in Hollywood on July 11, 2009 at 1501 N. Gardner Street at 7:45pm. The Mulatto Series chronicles the experiences of a mixed race woman and her interracial parents in America and Europe.
“My mother is a white Caucasian from France and my dad is an Afro from North Carolina. So, I have personal experience with the topic,” she said. “The July 11 performance is dedicated to Michael Jackson. Before Obama, there was Michael Jackson talking about black and white issues and Michael Jackson is the reason I am performing today. My first acting gig was as a Janet Jackson impersonator in Texas.”
The French speaking actress recently wrapped a lead role in Shawn Baker's Conspiracy X, which will premiere on cable television. Fairley was discovered by Spike Lee when she was cast in a principal role in his TV pilot Mayor of New York for NBC. The bi-coastal actress also hosted Cha Ching Money Makers for the Discovery Channel and was a principal actress in Hey Diddle Diddle, which screened at the Hollywood Black Film Festival on June 5, 2009.
