This new EP has five (5) wonderful hit singles including “Everything,” “Never Can Let You Go,” “You & Me,” Shine on Me,” and “Celebrate” which can be heard on his new DVD as a bonus track on his new comedy DVD entitled “Laughter is Good for the Soul” at the very end. Who is Jay Lamont?
Born in Oklahoma City, this preacher’s son grew up making all kinds of sounds to make people laugh and cheer. When Jay left Oklahoma City OK. He moved to Houston TX where he worked as a radio personality for several years. He soon realized his true calling was to perform comedy, so he moved to Los Angeles where he currently resides today. A master impressionist, singer and comedian, Lamont can perform in front of any audience with versatility and talent that knows no bounds. His amazing impressions of various people — from Barry Gibbs of the Bee Gees, Tom Joyner, late great Barry White, Michael Jackson, Prince to Barack Obama — have been pleasing audiences all over the county.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Jay has performed on Princess, Celebrity & Disney Cruise Lines, BET’s Comic View, Comedy Central, Showtime at the Apollo, Tom Joyner Family Reunion & Cruise, Jazz Legacy Foundation Concert Series, Capital Jazz Super Cruise, Big Easy Comedy Festival, Russell Simmon’s Def Comedy Jam, Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed, Jamie Foxx presents “Laffapalooza” and Martin Lawrence’s “Performance for the Black Arts in Dallas Texas,” “1st Amendment,” and casino stages all around the country.
He has also performed with such greats recording artist as the late Luther Vandross and Roger Troutman. Jay has also performed with The Gap Band, The O’Jays, Anita Baker, Ledisi, MAZE featuring Frankie Beverly, D.L. Hughley, Tommy Davidson, Lavell Crawford, Ricky Smiley, Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps, Jamie Foxx, Charlie Wilson, performed at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and many more.
