Paramus, NJ (BlackNews.com) - G.C. Cameron and John Campbell grew up in Mississippi and have stayed in touch over the years. In addition to their hometown, the two have something else in common -- helping people.
Cameron, former lead singer of the Temptations and the Spinners, has a new CD -- Enticed Ecstasy -- his second as a single performer. "It's so Hard to Say Goodbye Yesterday" and "It's a Shame" (co-written with Stevie Wonder) are his biggest hits.
G.C. Cameron is noted for having a very impressive five octave range. After serving in Vietnam in the USMC, he left Jackson for Detroit and has enjoyed a successful musical career with two of the most popular Motown groups. His new album contains 15 songs all penned by Mr. Cameron. And, he regularly visits schools to motivate students about the importance of education.
His friend, John Campbell, helps the majority of African American men due to his invention that cures Pseudofolliculitis Barbae (PFB) -- razor or shaving bumps. John Campbell saw that 80% of African American men suffered from PFB. And, his Shaver's Choice skin therapy system is marketed nationwide.
The two youngsters from Jackson continue to make their mark in the world -- one motivating and entertaining and the other inventing things that makes people's lives better.
"G.C. has been consistent and committed both as a famed singer and by motivating kids regarding the importance of education. We have another thing in common and that is quality. We both feel that making quality products are the best way we can motivate and serve," says John Campbell.
"John's Shaver's Choice skin therapy product really works and is already helping many men as well as women. I'm proud to call John my friend and I'm committed to helping him help others," added G.C. Cameron.
