FCSports Offers Economical Florida Classic Tickets Beginning Today
Florida Classic Presented by State Farm Parking Also Available Online for the First Time
Orlando, FL (BlackNews.com) - Florida Citrus Sports, the exclusive marketing rights holder of the Florida Classic presented by State Farm, announced today a new option for fans looking for an economical option for this year's battle between Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman universities.
Fans can now save over 35% on tickets to this year's game as FCSports is offering a $25 ticket (on new ticket purchases only). Tickets are now available in sections 302-305, 313-316, 324-327 and 335-338 at this discounted rate meaning a family of four attending this year's game would save $60.
FAMU (3-1, 1-1 MEAC) and B-CU (3-1, 1-1 MEAC) are each off to an outstanding start and already just one win shy of their combined win totals entering last year's Classic (a game played in November). Both schools have received votes in the most recent Sheridan Broadcasting Network's Black College Poll -- a poll which only recognizes the nation's top 10.
In addition to affordable tickets, the ability to purchase parking online is also now available for the first time ever. Parking has traditionally sold out for the game, so fans interested should go to www.floridaclassic.org and click the "Gameday" button. Interested parties may also call (866) 330-PARK if they would prefer to purchase their parking in advance over the phone.
Shuttle services will also be available this year, running from Valencia Community College and the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Parking at shuttle sites will be $5 and the shuttle ride will be free.
This year's Florida Classic presented by State Farm will be played on November 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Orlando's Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. For more information on the football game as well as ancillary events surrounding it, log on to www.FloridaClassic.org
