| South Bay's Best Trainers Unite To Fight The Obesity Epidemic In Southern California
Torrance, CA (BlackNews.com) -- On August 7, 2010, the Fitness Syndicate officially wages war on obesity in the South Bay. The Fitness Syndicate vs. Obesity "Push Through the Obstacle" is a 12 week program to combat the epidemic of obesity in the South Bay. The Fitness Syndicate was established on March 6, 2010, when a group of South Bay trainers and coaches decided to join forces to help do their part in battling obesity in Southern California. Their goal is to select 14 well deserving people who desperately need to change their lives in regards to life fitness at no cost.
Some of the best fitness professionals in Southern California will have 12 weeks to get the participants in their best shape. Each Fitness Syndicate member will have one week with the crew, and will train the group for three days out of a week.
At the end of each week, the trainer selected will conduct a body fat test and weigh-in on an official scale. All results will be recorded to prepare for the following trainer to continue the progress of the participants.
The great thing about this program is that the contestants will experience various methods of fitness training and personalities weekly to keep them motivated throughout the process. Participants can also expect to work out in different environments.
This unit of trainers wants the public to understand the real process behind weight loss, not the "quick fix." They will provide safe and realistic results in real time.
Ultimately, The Fitness Syndicate is promoting a pure message to the South Bay about life fitness and wellness. CJ, the President of the Fitness Syndicate and CEO of CJ's Functional Fitness says, "Obesity is an obstacle that we must push through; people are dying earlier than have to due to sedentary lifestyles, stress, and poor food choices. I've found the best of the best trainers who want nothing more than to get the Southland in shape and we will do just that!"
Potential participants can send letters via email to cj@cjff.org or letters to the Unit 1.5.7., at 15711 Condon Avenue Suite A4, Lawndale, CA 90260, home to CJ's Functional Fitness and KFlash Kustom Fitness, and express why they should be selected for this program. You can also inquire at KJLH Radio by texting 84444 and type in keyword FITNESS. From the emails and letters, they will select the most qualified people for the weight loss program. Participants will not incur any cost for this program; therefore, this selection process is the best way to determine who is serious about getting in shape. The Fitness Syndicate is looking for participants who are motivated, committed, and must have a flexible schedule.
Weigh-ins and assessments will be conducted on Friday, September 3, 2010 and on Monday September 6, 2010. The first week will begin at the CJ's Functional Fitness Studio in the City of Lawndale.
At the end of the fitness program there will be an awards ceremony for the top achieving participants to congratulate them on their fitness journey. No one will go home empty handed.
The selection of contestants will be completed on August 7, 2010 at the Fit Family Fun Day held at the Torrance Del Amo Mall in the JoAnn Court. This event will commence the independence of the participants from the chains of obesity. The battle cry for the day is "Obesity Does Not Live Here Anymore!"
The day will begin with a power walk at 9:30 a.m. led by CJ, KJLH Radio personality Nautica De La Cruz, and actress Tochina Arnold from "Everybody Hates Chris." Following the walk, CJ and his team will be providing free exercise and wellness information throughout the event. There will be fun and games for the young and the young heart, along with prizes and gift bags the whole family. The event ends at 2 p.m.
