Actress Dawnn Lewis and the Los Angeles Urban League Present “A New Day: Concert for a Cause” to Benefit Los Angeles Charities

A New Day Concert For A Cause

Los Angeles, CA — ‘Tis the season for giving and leading the way are actress Dawnn Lewis in partnership with the Los Angeles Urban League as they bring the entertainment family together for a remarkable holiday event experience to benefit urban charities in the Los Angeles community. “A New Day: Concert for a Cause” with donated performances from your favorite stars, will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015, 7pm at the state-of-the-art Saban Theatre, 8440 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA, 90211 at 7pm.

Hosted by multi-BMI, NAACP and Grammy Award winning Actress/Singer Dawnn Lewis and Super Bowl XLV & Dancing with The Stars Champion Donald Driver, the charitable extravaganza will be a memorable evening of philanthropic performances by the amazing Doug E. Fresh, gospel sensation Erica Campbell, and smooth jazz saxophonist Euge Groove. Multi Grammy Award winner Patrice Rushen will sit at the helm as the Music Director of an All-Star band plus Broadway star Jeffrey Polk will serve as the events’ director.

There will be something for everyone as guests will be treated to some of the industry’s best performers including special performances by invited artists: Chris Spencer, Angie Fisher, Michael Jai White, Ellis Hall, Glynn Turman, Lisa Vidal, Kiki Shepard, Jason George, Tone Loc, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Dondre’ T.
