| Women Are Left Wondering, "Am I A Playground Whore?"

Bookcover
Atlanta, GA (BlackNews.com) -- The Playground Whore, written by Brandi Jeneé, was released this year by Wilson Publishing and it has readers asking themselves numerous questions about their relationships and their past.
The main question is: “Am I a playground whore?” Luckily, a quiz is included in the book to answer this; but the quiz isn’t all the book has to offer.
The Playground Whore is a novel filled with suspense and drama. The main character, Dinah Bradley, was a successful marriage and family therapist who gave it up to write her self-help book, His Playground Whore: How to Get What You Want Without Losing the Game. In her book, Dinah encourages women to rediscover the love within; but it is Dinah who is rediscovering repressed parts of herself, causing her personal life to crumble.
Dinah Bradley has a past too terrifying to recall, a husband with a secret, and parents who lied to protect her. Adding to the intrigue is a seemingly mysterious man who is trying to destroy her. Donald, Dinah’s loving husband, is keeping a secret from his wife and the only person he feels comfortable confiding in is Shawna — Dinah’s best friend. Caught in a whirlwind of disbelief and distress, Dinah doesn’t know where to turn or who to trust.
The Playground Whore is a remarkable tale of secrets, lies, and past mistakes and has garnered rave reviews: “This book made me fall into tears when I finally got to the part where they uncovered Dinah's hidden secret. When...I read what Dinah went through I could do nothing but cry.” “This story captures you from the beginning to the ending...I enjoyed reading a book with substance.”
This is Brandi Jeneé’s second book. Her first book, Illusions of Elusive Love, was adapted for film. The movie, directed by Michael Willis, was shot in Georgia and is scheduled for a summer 2010 release.
