We welcome all to attend our annual community health fair as we continue to demonstrate this belief by serving our brothers and sisters. We pray that this inspires all to take charge of their health and respect their bodies as the temples that God created,” states Rev. Dr. Howard-John Wesley, pastor, Alfred Street Baptist Church.
The 2014 Community Health Fair occurs on the same day as Alfred Street Baptist Church celebrates the sixth anniversary of Pastor Wesley as well as his visionary program, entitled Feed the 5,000, which he launched to ensure that underserved individuals and families in the Alexandria and surrounding communities receive food and health screenings at this time of the year.
